What is the point of taking weighted classes if the universities look at unweighted core GPA?

Class rank is weighted. Universities and some scholarships look at both unweighted core course work and weighted class rank.

core courses OR Score a 22 on the ACT or 1120 on the SAT (does not

include writing score). Send scores directly from College Board or ACTstudent.org to colleges.
