European projects for a more equal, inclusive and sustainable society

It is an innovative, professional, active, reliable and efficient no profit and non

governmental organisation established by a group of youths keen on playing an active

role in the non-profit sector. We act on local, regional, national and

international level!

BOLOGNA PALERMO

YouNet has got two main offices in Italy: Bologna ,Palermo and Puglia, equipped with part-time staff and even foreign interns.

About 50 youngsters, aged between 18-30, cooperate, predominantly as volunteers, within YouNet.

YouNet collaborates with about 50 NGOs worldwide plus about 30 more in Italy.

PUGLIA

To promote and to boost the development of the non profit and pro-social sector;

to promote and to support volunteering at a local, national, european and international level as a tool to achieve a more inclusive society;

to encourage youth engagement, learning and mobility with particular regards to youngsters with fewer opportunities;

to foster training, cooperation and partnership between non profit organisations and social workers;

to foster active citizenship, social and democratic engagement;

to support social inclusion and cohesion;

to promote intercultural dialogue and exchange;

to promote European dimension.

We support intercultural dialogue by organising international projects and giving information about international opportunity.

“CULTUR-LAB” (Youth in Action 1.2) It was a laboratory of intercultural exchange

between Italians and immigrants. 4 months of workshops, cultural exhibitions,

intercultural cooking and even a living library.

EcoArt - Youth Exchange (Youth in Action 1.1)

9 days of an exchange between 16 youngsters from Italy and Spain.

The project aimed to raise awareness on the environmental issues through non formal education exploiting the expressive potential of three different artistic approaches: photography, comics and videomaking.
