Usually a mix of theoretical study and investigative work
Some subjects have large practical elements

Examinations take place at the end of the course in Year 11

Students complete a range of practical, life enhancing and work related challenges

Achieved if a student achieves “a good pass” (5) or above in:
English Language and Literature (combined or separate)
Mathematics
At least two Separate Sciences or Double Award in Combined Science. Computer Science can count as one of the science GCSEs
