Student Teaching BlocksAugust Observation:• 2nd or 3rd week of August• First three days of school (for public schools)• 7:45am – 4:00pm• Observe how teachers set up rules and
routines• Keep a journal of observations
Student Teaching Blocks
• Intro to Student Teaching (2 week seminar)• Four Week Block
Journals/lesson plans• Eight Week Block Journals/lessons/2 week unit• Six Week Blocks
Journals/lessons/1 week unit at each site(NOTE: During student teaching, you will follow the spring breakschedule of your cooperating school NOT the Hendrix spring breakschedule)
