- Sandy Dune and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dune, are getting
ready to go to the beach in North Carolina for a ten day
vacation.

- Sandy turned five this year, so his mom decided to let him try
to pack his suitcase all by himself.

- Mr. Dune got Sandys suitcase down from the attic and took it to
Sandys room so he could start packing.
- Slide 6
- Excited to be packing all by himself, Sandy begins by packing
one pair of goggles, so he can see underwater in the
ocean.ocean

- Next he packs two bathing suits, so he has one for the ocean
and one for the swimming pool at their vacation house. ocean

- Sandy puts three pairs of underpants into his suitcase because
he knows he always needs those.

- He needs something to sleep in, so Sandy packs four pairs of
pajamas.

- When hes not at the beach or in the pool, Sandy needs something
dry to wear, so he adds five pairs of shorts to his suitcase.

- After Sandy is finished swimming in the ocean, hell need
something to do on the beach, so he packs six sand toys.

- Mrs. Dune comes in to see how Sandy is doing with his packing.
He adds seven more pairs of underpants to his suitcasebecause Mom
said so.

- Sandy Dune and his family have a long drive from their house in
Ohio to the beach, so hell need something to do in the car. Sandy
puts eight games and toys into his suitcase to play with on the
way.

- He already packed his shorts for the trip but needs something
to wear with them, so Sandy adds nine t-shirts to his
suitcase.

- Sandys suitcase is almost full, but he cant leave home without
his favorite thing. Sandy squeezes in his ten favorite books.

- Mrs. Dune comes in to make sure Sandy didnt forget to pack
anything, and then Mr. Dune loads the suitcase into the trunk of
the car.

- Once everyone is in the car, the Dune family begins their long
drive from Ohio to North Carolina.
