WRC–19
WRCs used to be held in Geneva, Switzerland due to its massive participation and long duration as well as number of participants.
Egypt is currently looking for becoming a global hub for conferences, we hosted the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR-16) with a great success, which encourage us to host one of the International Telecommunication Union’s big events.
WRC-19 will be hosted in Sharm el Sheikh since it is the most suitable for accommodating this conference due to:
₋ Large conference hall, and meeting rooms - Availability variable hotels ₋ Easiness of security issues - Suitable places for
holding social events

For accommodating this conference many rooms arerequired due to the existence of many parallel meetings.
For these requirements an extension tothe venue have been constructed andready to accommodate WRC-19

Sharm El Sheikh International Convention Centers
The newly renovated International Convention Center in Sharm El Sheikhmarks itself as one of the largest convention centers in the region.
The Center offers over 30 meeting rooms and designated areas withdifferent participant capacities.
It boasts state-of-the art IT infrastructure complemented with top notchequipment aspiring to lead hosted events into success with professionalismand ease.
In addition to “The Capital” and “The Summit” rooms with a huge capacityof more than 3500 and 900 participants respectively, the Center comprisesa variety of differently-capacitated meeting rooms ranging from 100-500participants.

This will avoid time wasted in customizing oversized andundersized meeting rooms to fit small and large meetingsrequirements.
Such features stipulate the new Sharm El Sheikh ConventionCenter as one of the most advanced conferencing facilitiesaround the world, thus it will be the most suitable to hostmajor ITU events such as the World Radio Conference.

Sharm El-Sheikh convention Centers can accommodate all ITU meetingrooms’ requirements without any split of any meeting room,
All meeting rooms could work parallel during the event duration.
The new extension of the convention center is re-designed based onWRC-19 and RA-19 requirements.
20Entry visa
All Egyptian embassies and councilors around the world will facilitate the entry visas for
participants.
Participants must apply for their visa at an early stage in order to guarantee obtaining it.
A visa form will be sent to all participants to facilitate obtaining their entry visa.

Transportation
A free of charge transportation will be provided to all participants from the airport to the
official hotels
Shuttle buses will be provided at the door of each official hotel to the venue and vice-
versa, every 10 minutes
Registered participants must fill the transportation form to guarantee their pick up from
the airport

All IT requirements has been taken into consideration and Egypt is currently working on providing all IT
services
