Workshop Objectives and Organisation

Workshop Objectives• Provide a forum for scientific exchange and to initiate and

encourage close collaboration between individual research groups.• Provide a forum for ESA Principal Investigators to present the

results and status of AO and Cat-1 projects.• Present new results from the latest studies in the field and to

assess the state-of-the-art.• Present the InSAR results from the ESA and 3rd party SAR

missions.• Discuss the use of InSAR data for scientific research and

applications development.• Assess the available data ordering and analysis tools.• To review and assess the maturity and operational readiness of

InSAR applications.• Formulate recommendations for algorithm and new products

development in light of the forthcoming Sentinel-1 era.

Oral Presentations• 20 minutes per oral presentation, including questions• Please upload your presentation well before the start of your session using the computer

in the Room O/Annex room. • All presentations should be run from the presentation computer (not from your laptop!) • Please identify yourself to the session chairs before the start of the session.• More information in the document “Fringe2011 Information for Presenters”

Poster Presentations• Two free poster sessions, on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons. • Poster mounting starts Monday lunchtime (weather caveat) for the 1st session and on

Wednesday morning for the 2nd session.• Posters are grouped thematically, instructions are in the tent.

Proceedings• ESA SP-697 to be published on CD-ROM during this year• Deadline for papers is 23th of September (this Friday). • In addition papers (and presentations) will be shared on the workshop website.
