Congratulations Stevie!
Congratulations to Waterloo Wolves’ alum, Steve Lo-
rentz, on being named a road game Assistant Captain
with the Peterborough Petes.
In 2012, Steve was drafted by the Petes in the 12th
round; 226th overall. Since then, he has grown 7",
gained 60 lb. and after scoring 23 goals in just 58
games, has proved any sceptics wrong.
2016-17 is Steve’s final junior hockey season. Good
luck Steve, we’ll be watching and cheering.

Our Success Stories
Players who compete for the Midget AAA Waterloo
Wolves have committed many years of dedication and
hard work to develop their skills. We are truly proud of
them.
It is our hope that the traits learned while wearing the
uniform of the Waterloo Wolves will follow these
young men throughout their academic, athletic, and
business pursuits.
Over the years it has been very exciting to see our
players move on the compete in all levels of Junior
hockey, college/university play, European league and NHL.
As of the end of the 2015-16 seasons, 14 seasons in all, we have seen:
3 of our players make it to the NHL
17 players graduate to Junior A
Over 70 players graduate to Junior B
Over 30 players graduate to Junior C
We have many alumni playing hockey at universities and col-
leges in Canada and the US, as well as players in Europe. We even have an alum officiating in the NHL and another in
the AHL!
As Willy Huber always says, "Once a Wolf, Always a Wolf".
We encourage all Wolves' alumni to keep us updated on their progress in hockey. Updates may be forwarded to Sandi
Henning at tymflys@yahoo.com
