Wizard Cyndi’s Coupon Organization

Hybrid Method

The first thing I do is layout each set of my inserts.

Next I match like sheets from each insert.

The like pages are stapled together.

Preferred brand and commonly used coupons are clipped. These are held to put in my binder.

The packet is assembled with the stapled pages and left together whole.

The packets are put into my file box. There is one hanging folder for each week.

My binder is used for…

*Preferred Brands*Clipped Coupons Not Used*Coupons from Magazines*All Other Loose Coupons*Store Specific Coupons*Catalina’s Received

I used a Case It Z-Binder that has 2 sections. One section is for food and the other for non-food.

My food section categories are…

*Baking*Beverages *Bread*Breakfast (frozen & boxed)*Condiments, Salad Dressing*Dairy*Foods Other*Freezer- Desserts*Freezer- Foods*Fruits & Veggies (Frozen & Canned*Meat*Pasta & Rice*Prepared Foods & Sides*Refrigerated*Salty, Snacks*Seasonings & Spices*Soup*Sweet, Snacks*Tomato Items

My non-food section categories are…

*Air Freshners/Candles*Beauty*Cleaning Supplies*Cold, Allergy, Oral Meds*Dishwashing & Laundry *Feminine Hygine*First Aid *Hair Care*Lotion*Misc.*Non-Oral Meds*Oral Care*Paper Products*Reynolds, Ziplocs, Trash Bags, etc.*Shaving & Deodorant*Soap & Body Wash*Vitamins

In the front of my binder I have a large sectioned sheet for store specific coupons and store dollars.

One thing I do in my binder is to use a piece of colored paper in each section. This keeps coupons from the next page from showing through.

When it is necessary to fold coupons to fit in the section, if the expiration date isn’t showing I write in it pencil. This makes for faster binder clean out.

Thank you for watching my slide show on how I organize and keep my coupons. If you look in the body of this post I have some links to show you the type of materials I use.

Happy couponing!!
