interesting as he has volumes on this.
SEPT 24: BILL JUSACK will give us info on one of his
favorite topics-- Joliet Postmarks & Postal History. Come
hear about Joliet, I am sure there will be something new to
learn from Bill' talk, and you might be able to tell us

PAST AUG 13 Ship
Covers by Sandra
Bauter had a number of
Ship FDC's from the
1930's on up, and even
a postcard from 1910.
Some were very
colorful and all were
historic. Many were from the Holidays, especially interesting
was "Joker's Day, April 1, 1938"
Aug 27 AUCTION Philatelic Items of William Allsott. Viewing began at
5pm; Allsott had 100's of lots, US,
Foreign, FDC's, UN, Postal Stationary.
A number of items from the 60's & 70s. I
even had a long list of items I bid on,
usually only $1 and others bid some of them up, but I did
manage to get a few that I wanted. Because I work the
auction, carrying the won bids to the table to store for the
buyer, I don't often get the chance to bid up items I am
interested in. Thanks to Rod as auctioneer, Doug , Ted and
George A for working the table. All lots were sold! Thanks
also to those who came early to help set out all of the lots.

AUCTION NOTICE When you have a large number of single page lots for auction night, please place them in Binders to leave more
room on the tables for other items. When anyone BIDS on a single page binder item, they should take it out of the binder and place
it on top of the binder for others to be able to see it, having it out makes it easier when collecting items with bids on them. THANKS.
