CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
INTRODUCTION
A COVID-19 Murrumbidgee Aboriginal Health Consortium has been established to provide a comprehensive,
coordinated and culturally safe response to COVID-19, and it’s impacts on the Aboriginal
communities within the Murrumbidgee Health District.
The Consortium members include a wide range of community leaders and Aboriginal community
controlled health services and Government organisations offering diverse expertise
and local community knowledge, to help keep our community members safe.
With strong connections to your local Aboriginal
community, we ask for your support us in helping to share the information and
resources included in this pack.
Having access to this information is especially important to those who may
be isolated from family, friends and their usual support network.
Helping people understand what they need to do to reduce their risk
and the risk to those close to them of COVID-19, is key to slowing the spread.
