servant, and he has never done me
wrong. How then can I blaspheme my
Saviour and my King?”
WHO DO YOU SAY JESUS IS?
John 1:43-51 NIV
The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee.
Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” Philip,
like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of
Bethsaida. Philip found Nathanael and told him,
“We have found the one Moses wrote about in the
Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—
Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” “Nazareth!
Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael
asked. “Come and see,” said Philip. When Jesus
saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here
truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”
“How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus
answered, “I saw you while you were still under the
fig tree before Philip called you.” Then Nathanael
declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are
the king of Israel.” Jesus said, “You
believe because I told you I saw you under the fig
tree. You will see greater things than that.” He then
added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven
open, and the angels of God ascending and
descending on’ the Son of Man.”

you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the
Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied,
“Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not
revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in
heaven.

under their own fig tree.
5. Keep your hope alive
Psalm 137: 1-4 NIV
By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we
remembered Zion. There on the poplars we hung
our harps, for there our captors asked us for songs,
our tormentors demanded songs of joy; they said,
“Sing us one of the songs of Zion!” How can we sing
the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land?
5. Keep your hope alive
Habakkuk 3:17-19 NIV
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no
grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and
the fields produce no food, though there are no
sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I
will rejoice in the Lord , I will be joyful in God my

Forgiveness
Dear Lord Jesus
As I stand before You:
I welcome and receive the following people to stand with
me before You: (Name
the people out loud).
I ask You to forgive me for judging them and placing them in
bondage and
allowing hurt and disappointment to rule my life.
I ask You to release them even as I now release them and
set them free.
Please set me free from the bondage I have been in.
Remove the blockage of judgement from my life and
release Your river of mercy to flow through me.
In Jesus name. Amen
