- I-nigma What is it? -I-nigma is a QR reader that lets your
students go to any set webpage, image, or video. -Instead of
telling students to go to xyz.com simply create a QR Code with that
address attached to it and have students scan it.

a picture of either Martin Luther King, Jr. or George Washington
and create a 20-30 second clip describing them. 1.2 The student
understands how historical figures, patriots and good citizens
helped shape the community, state, and nation.

- Station 2: Word Clouds Read the following paragraph about
Martin Luther King, Jr. When you are finished use Word Clouds to
type out his name and list some characteristics about him. Be sure
and use the ~ symbol if you are typing multiple words on one line.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was a civil rights activist in the 1950s
and 1960s. He led nonviolent protests to fight for the rights of
all people including African Americans. He hoped that America and
the world could become a colorblind society where race would not
impact a person's civil rights. He is considered one of the great
orators of modern times, and his speeches still inspire many to
this day. 1.2 The student understands how historical figures,
patriots and good citizens helped shape the community, state, and
nation

- Station 3: ThingLink In ThingLink, take a picture of the
geoboard that is hanging. List 3 attributes about the figure. (ie:
There are four equal sides, etc.) Make sure to export it out to
ThingLink when finished. 2.8A Create two dimensional shapes based
on given attributes, including number of sides and vertices. 2.8D
Compose two dimensional shapes and three dimensional solids with
given properties or attributes. 2.8e Decompose 2D shapes such as
cutting out a rectangle from a square, dividing a shape in half or
partitioning a rectangle into identical triangles and identify
geometric parts.

- Station 4 In Pic Collage, take a picture of the item that you
see in the bag. Depending on its characteristics, label it either
soil rocks or sand. Under your picture, create a word cloud that
describes the item in the bag. *Tip, make sure to type out the item
two times so that it can stand out.

- Station 5 Using a 4-rectangle template, take a picture of each
of the items in the bag. Label what they are. Use the blank space
to give your project a title. A screenshot will be needed to import
your image into the next app. Create one Thing per image and in a
complete sentence, identify the item, color and texture, if you
think this item would be able to retain water, and if the item
would be able to support the growth of plants. 4.7a. Examine
properties of soils including texture, capacity to retain water and
support the growth of plants.

- Station 6 Take a picture of the geoboard. Create a word cloud
telling all about the shape and its characteristics. Put this word
cloud underneath your picture. (You will need to screenshot the
collage to use the final app.) Create 4 things describing the
attribute of the shape. Make sure to export it out to ThingLink
when finished. 2.8e decompose two dimensional shapes such as
cutting out a square from a rectangle, dividing a shape in half or
partitioning a rectangle into identical triangles and identify the
resulting geometric parts.

done reading the article, scan the QR Code to complete the
activity. 2.3b ask relevant questions, seek clarification and
locate details about stories and other texts and support answers
with evidence from text.

language.

- Station 9 -Scan the QR Code using i-nigma and save one image
per category to your camera roll. -In Pic Collage create 4
categories labeled Cash Credit Debit Card and Credit Card. Insert
the image from camera to the correct category. -Save Pic Collage to
your camera roll. -In ThingLink, upload your image and use the
video feature to explain the advantages and disadvantages of each
category (debit, credit card, etc.) One video per category. -Export
to ThingLink when finished. Note: All images were found on Pixabay
(a copyright friendly place for images.) 5.10c Identify the
advantages and disadvantages of different methods of payment
including check, credit card, debit card and electronic
payments.

- Station 9 Tip I recommend getting pictures from Flickr Creative
Commons or Pixabay. -Save those images onto a Google Doc. -Copy the
link by clicking share (don't forget to change the permissions to
anyone with the link) -Use qrstuff.com to paste the link from
Google Docs and create a QR Code.

- Station 10 Take a picture of the scrapbook paper and set it as
background. In Explain Everything type out a math story problem
(addition or subtraction.) In Explain Everything, take a picture of
the sticker and use the lasso tool to trace around the picture. Use
the duplicate tool to make however many items you need. Use the
group tool to group batches of items. Record yourself reading the
problem, move the grouped items as you record your voice. Using the
pen tool (while recording), write out the number sentence and
answer. Export out to YouTube when finished. Scan the QR Code for a
student sample. 1.6B - Understand and apply properties of
operations and the relationship between addition and
subtraction.

- Station 11 In Pic Collage, change the layout to four
rectangles. Take a picture of a person, place and thing and place
in each rectangle. Label and identify what the item is and whether
it is a person, place or thing. This was an activity we used with
our ELL/ELD students.

- Station 12 -Read the mentor text that is given to you. -In
Sound-O-Scope, retell the sequence of events using the words
beginning middle and end. -Playback the audio and then email to
yourself when done.
