Material required:

1. Plastic trays: 10” x 14”

2. Compost soil

3. Wheat

4. Clean filtered water

Procedure:

1. Clean plastic trays with water

2. Make a small hole in the tray

3. Fill compost soil keeping 1” free from top

4. Keep germinated wheat seeds on soil surface

5. Put a layer of soil over seeds

6. Sprinkle water gently

7. Cover the tray with another tray

8. Keep it in cool place and shadow for 2 days

9. Pour water gently after every 24 hrs. in order to

maintain moisture of the soil

10. On 2” growth of wheat grass give a dose of sunlight

11. Keep these trays in sunlight everyday for a period

of 2 – 3 hrs.

12. Use of wheat grass is advisable when it grows to a

height of 8”
