Social Definition:“Marketing is a societal process by which individuals and groups obtain what they need and want by creating, offering, and freely exchanging products and services of value with others.”

Managerial Definition:“Defined as the aim to know and understand customers so well that the product or service fits in and sells itself. Ideally, results in a customer who is ready to buy.”
