What is NFC• NFC is a short-range wireless
technology.• NFC provides unique advantages over
other available wireless technologies. • The design includes a near-field
transmitter and receiver.

HistoryNokia, Philips and Sony established the Near Field Communication (NFC) in 2004.
Nokia 6131 was the first NFC phone which is launched in 2006.
Samsung Nexus S was the first Android NFC phone which is launched in 2010.
In 2011 NFC support becomes part of the Symbian mobile operating system.
