What is Moodle?

• Moodle is a learning management system like Janison or Blackboard or WebCTthat lets you put provide documents, graded assignments, quizzes, discussion forums, etc. to your students with an easy to learn and use interface.

• It is a free program which is being developed co-operatively coordinated by the main site at Moodle.org

Advantages

• Quick and easy

• Can be accessed within classroom

• Teacher controls level of access- public, guest without key, guest with key.

• Great way to keep all lesson materials in one place.

• Ideal for blended learning
