TOPIC:

WHAT AILS PAKISTAN?

Pakistan celebrated its 64th independence day on 14 August, 2010. It was a dream of Muslims of the sub-continent to have a land where they could live independently according to the principals of Islam where rule of law and justice prevails. This dream turned into reality despite all the hurdle and impediments. Its all because of the efforts and enthusiasm of our great leaders of that time. They did not think of themselves, their sacrifices were for the coming generations.

BACKGROUND :

WHERE IS DEMOCRACY NOW?

Mostly, we had corrupt, incompetent leaders interested primarily in helping themselves, their family and friends at cost of masses, and establishing royal dynasties, with some even going through a name-change process to establish their legitimacy and credentials as politicians.

Government, itself, is the main issue that needs to be addressed. If it is incompetent, corrupt and dishonest, the country will suffer and the nation would have to bear the consequences.

Unemployment Electricity failure Inadequate water supply Sky high prices Terrorism Injustice

WHAT AILS PAKISTAN TODAY?

The situation is not much different in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province where, due to lack of employment opportunities, joining foreign-funded militant outfits may be the only jobs available to some people. Isn’t it a shame that in the mineral-rich Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Provinces, not much effort has been made to exploit the resources for the betterment of the local people as also for the benefit of the whole country.

LACK OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

Pakistan’s economy is suffering extensively because of shortage of electricity and water issues. Electricity short fall and water issues can be solved by constructing dams, through the use of uranium, and wind mills as they are good source for generating electricity

ELECTRICITY FAILURE & INADEQUATE WATER SUPPLY:

SKY HIGH PRICES:

The prices of edible goods have gone sky-high.

The poor and downtrodden citizens are being crushed under the burden of inflation and the country’s economy is in ruins.

For the last few years, Pakistan is shaken and rocked by sudden bomb blasts, worst killings, and thus by a consistent sabotage. These were taking place in the borderland between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the tribal areas, now they are occurring in the heartland of the country as the one in Manawan Police Training Academy and other major cities of Pakistan.

TERRORISM:

INJUSTICE:

Increasing injustice is a big dilemma of Pakistan’s today’s society. The crime rate and other social issues are increasing day-by-day, which are a living example of injustice. The other key cause of injustice in Pakistan is corruption .

Are Four Pillars of State responsible for what ails Pakistan's today?????

It is a general perception that the infrastructure, functioning and organization of a state are based on its four pillars. The armed forces, the parliament, the judiciary and the media. This factor is due to the immense effect these forces have on the political economic and social standing of a country in a global scenario.

When these four pillars will work together with coordination with each other so our country will develope well and prosper in the international community.

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough”
