A ‘big school’ welcome to our new Kinders!

Library Borrowing

Welcome back to another year of library borrowing! This year all children from Kindergarten to Year 6 will have the opportunity to borrow books from the library. Teachers will advise parents of library borrowing days at class meetings. Children will need to bring along a small library bag to help protect the books as they travel between school and home. Our school has lots of fantastic titles in the library and I am more than happy to help children find books to suit their individual reading level and interests. I am looking forward to seeing lots of borrowing in 2020!

Head Lice There have been more reports of head lice! Please be vigilant checking your child's hair and treat if needed. Please ensure hair is clear before returning to school. Treatment needs to include bedding, lounges, car seats etc. Thank you!

assembly.

As we have a couple of students who are anaphylactic to specific foods, it would be appreciated if you do not send peanuts or kiwifruit to school. Teachers will also enforce no sharing of food. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our school safe for all students.

P&C News

Next P&C Meeting - Wed, 12th Feb. Looking forward to ‘new faces’ attending. All welcome! If anyone has any ‘business’ they would like dis-cussed at a P&C meeting please contact the Presi-dent, Amy Walton, or myself via email by the Friday before a meeting. This will enable us to inform other parents through the Newsletter and access any in-formation so an informed decision can be made.

Thank you for being partners in your child’s learning! Sharon Palmer.

Waves Waves are beautiful, calm and nice but when it gets angry it’s not a delight, when its gets cold it turns into ice but if the ice melts, the sea will get high, the islands will sink the poor little mice. By Abbey - 4/5 Rainforest
