• Schizophrenia 28.5 years (Suetani et al., 2015)

• Severe mental illness clients of UK mhs, 14 years (Chang et al., 2011)

• US between 13 and 30 years (depending on state) (Colton and maderschieid, 2006)

• Int’l: 15 years for women, 20 years for men (Thornicroft, 2013)
