By maya alone Arjuna thought that the temporary bodily relationship with his kinsmen was more important than his eternal spiritual relationship with Krishna.

The whole teaching of the Gita is targeted toward this end: Our sense of identity apart from Krishna is called maya. As Krishna's eternal servitors, we have a purpose to fulfill. Gita 4/35

Forgetfulness

We tend to forget even

things that are important

Krishna is in relationships and since we’re made in Krishna’s image we are made to live in

relationship – first with Krishna and second with others. There is a vertical and there is a horizontal

relationship.

"The devotees are always in My heart, and I am always in the hearts of the devotees. The devotee does not know anything beyond Me, and I also cannot forget the devotee. There is a very intimate relationship between Me and the pure devotees. Pure devotees in full knowledge are never out of spiritual touch, and therefore they are very much dear to Me."

“Every day, Krishna takes His older brother with Him and goes out into the various forests, eager to enjoy with His herds of cows and wander about in the company of His many friends.” BB 1/6/1-6

The associates of Krishna are so immersed in pure love that they do not even know that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
