Math Grade
Math grades are made up of two components:• Daily assessments called RSAs (Recognizing
Student Achievement)• End of the Unit Assessment –Written Test Part A
only**Part B includes newer concepts and is used to inform future instruction. Part C is
problem-solving and practice for ISAT short and extended response problems.
Math Profiles of Progress
• At the end of each unit a Profile and the Unit Checking Progress test will be sent home.
• Only those skills covered in the unit will be highlighted with an A (adequate progress) or N (not adequate progress). N/A means the skill was not covered in that unit.
• The two percentages at the bottom - RSA Score & Unit Checking Progress- will be averaged for the unit math grade.
