WELCOME TO MRS. KOCJANCIC’S FIRST GRADE CLASSROOM!

MEET THE TEACHERHello! My name is Mrs. Kocjancic and this is my second year of teaching first grade after 8 years in kindergarten at South St. Marys.

I graduated from Clarion University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Then in 2007 with a Master’s Degree from Gannon University in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently working on another Master’s Degree from Clarion in Educational Leadership in Technology.

I am really excited for this school year and this particular group seems to be awesome already!

OUR DAILY SCHEDULE:

worksheets DON’T FORGET ABOUT CONDUCT!

Students may have a water bottle at their seat – ONLY water!

They are also permitted one snack each day to eat at the end of the day .

ACCELERATED READER!Keep up with AR! 3 points at an 85% accuracy by October 24th! Fill out slips when ready for a test and please let me know when you need more slips!

BOX TOPS!

Bring in box tops. The class that has the most each month wins a pizza party!

LUNCH MONEY!

You can set this up online to check our account to know when you owe money!

BEHAVIOR!Check your child’s behavior chart in the back of their daily folder to see if they earned a sticker every day .
