Participation
• Students can expect daily homework
assignments, quizzes, and tests. I will
randomly collect homework and use the
provided homework rubric to grade them.
• To calculate your average compute the
following:
𝑇𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑑
𝑇𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑔𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠
• Students are expected to use the online
portal to check their grades regularly. If you
ever have a question about your grade you
must come see me after school.
About Geometry/ TrigFollowing courses in Algebra, our course will focus on some of the most
important topics in Geometry and Trigonometry. The first half of this course will focus on major Geometry topics. Once those units are complete, we will shift our focus to trigonometry. We will begin by reviewing the basics and then we’ll delve
into some real world applications of trigonometry. I understand we are all at different readiness levels, and I am ready to meet you where you are!
