Your Role as a Mentor .

Your Duty as a Mentor

Requirements You must be a Member of IEEE and/or HKN You must meet with your mentees at least once

outside of our scheduled meetings. You must inquire about your mentees’ first meeting

with his/her faculty advisor.

Your Behavior as a Mentor

Do not use alcohol, tobacco or drugs when with your mentee.

Do not have firearms or weapons present while with your mentee.

Speak appropriately and in a professional manner

Do not engage in a romantic relationship with your mentee.

Be cautious about connection on social networking sites (Facebook, Myspace, tweeter, etc.).

Scavenger Hunt Rules Every member (except the one taking the picture) must be in every photograph. Every member must be in at least one of the photographs. Photographs must be relatively clear. The time limit for this event is 1 hour. You must ABSOLUTELY be back at 2nd floor patio by 7:15

PM regardless of completion. For every 2 minutes late you will lose 2 points. You do not need to find the items sequentially. In fact it might save you time to do them out

of order. Have fun- this hunt is designed to help you get acquainted with some of the facilities that you

will be using while here at UCLA, but you should have a good time doing it. Try to not enter any of the facilities/Offices. In most cases just a picture of their sign is

sufficient. If anyone gets hurt in the process, your team is disqualified!! So be careful!
