Welcome from the Head of School
Thank you for joining us at our newly re-imagined “Non-Gala Gala!” As a parent, the Annual Spring Gala was one of
my favorite Academy Hill traditions. It was an opportunity to meet other parents at an adults-only event, enjoy the
company of faculty in a more relaxed setting, and, of course, to bid on some fabulous prizes. Joe and I have collected
artwork, gift certificates, Fiesta dinner ware, tickets to events and attractions, and a new iPad over the years! If this is
your first Gala, we welcome you to enjoy this exciting evening of activity, chance and friendship. If you are joining
us for the second, third or even tenth time, we welcome you back to our premier fundraising event.
As you know, proceeds from tonight’s event provide direct support for the initiatives and programs at Academy Hill.
Whether we are sending our students out to enjoy authentic experiences related to classroom instruction, or bringing
an expert or practitioner to our school to demonstrate a skill or talent, we rely on your support. Academy Hill provides
our bright and motivated children with an exceptional educational experience. And your generosity provides us with
the ability to offer the outstanding programs our children deserve.
Thank you for being with us tonight. Have fun and happy bidding!
