Welcome to South Main!
You’re invited to be a part of our family as we worship God, encourage one anoth-
er, and grow spiritually together.
When we meet together, we sing, pray, study the Bible, partake together in the
communion of the Lord's supper, and en-joy great family fellowship.
A fully staffed nursery is available. Ask an usher for assistance.
During AM services, we offer signing for those who are hearing impaired.

Bob’s Thoughts…
Will Your Children go to Heaven?
All of us are concerned about the dropout rate of our young people. I’m not talking about the educa-tional dropout in our country, but the loss of Christian young people to the world. It is a tragic thing to witness these precious young souls who are so thrilled with Bible school at an early age, grow up in a world that en-traps them in so many ways. The sad thing is that they lose interest in the Lord’s work and are carried away into a land of empty promises. Several studies have been conducted into the reasons of why so many leave and the results may be sur-prising to some. What do we need? More programs to keep the interest level high? More rallies? Specialized teachers? Here are the results of the studies conducted: When both parents are faithful to the Lord in their interest and attendance to the activities of the local church, 93% of their children remained faithful. On the other hand, if only one parent was faithful, that figure dropped to 70%. When the parents were only sometimes involved, that figure drops again to around 50%. When parents attended only infrequently, the percentage of their chil-dren that remained faithful dropped to only 6%. What’s the message? If you want your children to go to Heaven, you’d better start leading them there! That’s the only way to do your part in helping them overcome the temptations of the world. Those of you that have lived long enough to raise children to adulthood know that it is an awesome task, but it can be very re-warding.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he shall not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6)
Have a Great Week!
Bob
