Digital Folders Log in to your personal student drive – not just the

computer.

Connect to the drive with your username and password

(same as last year)

Create a folder called “School Work 2014”

Put EVERYTHING that you currently have saved in to

this folder NOW

Create a folder called “Semester 1 2015”

Digital Folder In the Semester 1 2015 folder, create the following sub-

folders:

English

Maths

Science

Humanities (Geography, History)

Personal Learning

Electives (Japanese, Woodwork, cooking etc)

Important Dates In your calendar/diary - your phone/computer

- Swimming sports – 12th February

- Cross Country – 23rd March

- Parent Teacher Interviews 26th & 27th March

- Due dates from other teachers – every Math Mate is

due. Set a reminder

- How to set a reminder

STUDENT WORK Each teacher has a pigeon hole at the front of the

room.

If you have work that needs to be submitted to a

particular teacher you are to put it in the pigeon hole.

The teachers will be checking this on a regular basis.

Literacy Skills Writing skills that will help you in all classes

Reading/Comprehension that will at times use

materials from your other subjects

May include summarising, paraphrasing, editing and

proof-reading.

Spelling strategies

Review Students use the Review

Book to reflect on how today's organistation will assist them with their learning throughout the year.
