When handling scissors and cutting:
1. DO NOT: Touch the inside of scissor blades with your fingers

1. DO: Hand Scissors to another person handles first.
2. DO: Walk with scissor blades held CLOSED in your hand.
3. DO: Use the tip of the scissor blades to cut smaller, detailed areas of a project (curves, angle, tight spaces).
4. DO: Use the “V” of the scissor blade to cut bigger areas of a pattern (straight lines, big shapes).
5. DO: Return the scissors to the wall rack when the 5-minute bell rings.
