s Tate Dunlap and James Ragle helped long-time
custodian Mrs. Bessie with yard work Monday, January 20th. Thank you two for taking the time to help!
The senior trip was January 17th-18th. One of our seniors, Jonathan Roller, said his favorite thing was “going through the World War II museum, which had amazing technology to lead you through a story where you collect artifacts, digitally, and clips from different points in the war.” Cadets also visited the New Orleans zoo and ate Cajun cuisine. It sounds like they all had an amazing time in New Orleans!
Tuesday, February 4th, 32 cadets had the opportunity to go to Duke Field Air Force Base and fly with them in a C-145. Everyone had a lot of fun and it was a
very cool experience. For nine cadets this was their first ever experience flying!
The Drill Team competed in their first competition, hosted at Baker, on January 25th. The Baker male team got first place and Baker female team got second place. Thanks to the cadets that volunteered and another special thanks to the judges from the 7th
Special Forces Group. The orienteering team competed in their competition
on February 1st. Thank you to UWF ROTC cadet and former Baker JROTC cadet Isaac Kimbrell for helping out with the team!
