Word StudyWe will continue to work with short vowels for the next several weeks. This week we will be working with short /u/. These are some examples of words that contain this sound.

Word Study tests will be given on Friday unless otherwise noted. Tests will include 10 words. Some may be from the list and others will be any word that contains that pattern.

We take a SHORT break in the morning when your child is allowed to have a snack
from home if they choose. This snack should be a healthy snack and not a sugary treat. We need to be able to stay focused on our work and sugar makes it hard to do

homework. We would like for you to spend quality time with

Lunch is at 11:55 to 12:25pm dailyIf your child is a car rider in the morning, they must be at the lunchroom before 8:05 a.m. in order to eat breakfast at school. Breakfast begins at 7:40.

Parents,I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. I know that it was nice to be able to relax and spend time with family. Progress reports will be available on Infinite Campus on Thursday. We have had very limited time to collect grades so please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about grades at this time. I am always happy to discuss your child’s learning with you.
