Groups    ( think central Pg. 139 book 3/boy looking at bug)

Comprehension: Cause and EffectFluency: Intonation 

 Phonics: Long i (CVCe), Phonograms -ine, -ite

and Digraphs kn, wr, gn, mb 

Language: Action Verbs (walk, sit, read) continued, Adjectives (red, pretty, three)

continued, Nouns (people, places, things, or animals), Complete sentneces, and Sentece

parts, statementsMain Focus: The Verb be, Verbs and Time   

 Vocabulary/Words to Know:

bird, fly, those, both, long, walk, eyes, or  Practice these words in sentences for the

Vocabulary Test.   

 

Spelling G3: get, after, give, put, with, that, very, much, when, which, came, make, like,

time, bike   

Please make sure your child completes one square on the Spelling Menu each night for

homework.  Staple together Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night's Spelling homework and send them to school

on Friday.  The Spelling Menu is stapled should be kept until told otherwise.  

ONLY SEND BACK ON FRIDAY PLEASE!

A G1 is a daily grade. A G2 is a test grade.

 

  Safety

Please remember that you must sign in the office before entering the building.  Classroom doors will remain locked anytime children are present.  Only teachers are allowed to open the doors for any visitors.  Reiterate this policy with your child at home.  Please do not yank the doors in the hallway. Due to a new security system, you must be buzzed in from the office in order to walk through the building.  Thank you for your patience.  Your child's safety is our number 1

priority!

Bring a water bottle every Wednesday for P.E. and also wear tennis shoes.

 Please only send homework to school on Fridays this will make checking over it easier
