HISTORY Irrigation The word comes from the Latin "Irrigatio"

meaning Water. The first civilizations diverted the waters of the Tigris

and Euphrates to irrigate their fields. In Asia, about 2000 years ago, China used traditional

surface irrigation methods and went to a whole new level of irrigation, building canals to acquire water in remote areas .The modern irrigation systems, with industrialization, Systems steam and electric pumps to draw water from rivers and use it to water propulsion used. With the growing concern of more and better crops, research and improved techniques have achieved Intelligent Irrigation Systems .The current, make an important contribution to saving water, and reduce problems related to Agriculture and Irrigation Gardening, such as time management and excess supply of nutrients to plants.

 

STRUCTURE It consists of several components they depend on

whether it is irrigation diffusers, sprinkler or drip, for example, but there are many more and some are as follows.

  * Sprinkler: Sprinklers have a range greater than 6

meters, so throwing the water at this distance, depending on whether more or less pressure and nozzle type.

  The sprinklers can be divided into:  • Emerging: come off the floor when watering opens

and ends when retracted. • Phones. They engage the end of a hose and will move

from one place to another. 

* Drip irrigation: water is to provide such localized at the base of each plant. They are responsible for this droppers or issuers; which can be:

  • Integrated into the pipe. • From button, which engage the pipe.  * Irrigation Diffuser: These are similar to but smaller sprinklers.  They distribute water at a distance between 2 and 5 meters,

The range can be changed by opening or closing a screw carrying many models diffuser head.They are used for narrower areas. So we recommend, sprinklers for watering larger areas of 6 meters and broadcasters for small surfaces.
