Product description PRIMAFLOOR® is a single pack polyurethane acrylic primer for all new and unfinished or stripped wooden floors. Available in Clear and 6 colours PRIMAFLOOR® strengthens the durability and performance of all waterborne varnishes both single and two pack, thereby ensuring optimum performance of the finish coat. Odourless, quick drying, light fast and non-yellowing, PRIMAFLOOR® also prevents tannin bleed and avoids gluing of the wood strips and joints by the finish. PRIMAFLOOR® colours can be intermixed or added to the finishing product to achieve the desired look.PRIMAFLOOR® is recommended for all soft and hardwood floors including exotic hardwoods, parquet flooring, veneered flooring and staircases.

Good application practice

•Protecteverythingthatdoesnothavetobecoated.• Remove all furniture and furnishings.• Remove plants and flowers. Remove or cover fish tanks.• CompatiblewithwoodthathaspreviouslybeentreatedwithTMU84*.• Mix carefully before application. Do not shake.• Useasis.Donotdilute.• Donotapplyatanambientairandwoodtemperatureoflessthan10°Corgreaterthan25°C.• OnlyapplyPRiMAFLOOR®towoodsurfaceswhosemoisturecontentis15%orless.• Neversandprimedorstainedwoodpriortoapplyingthefinishingcoat.• In all cases, comply with the applicable standards.• To avoid product drying to fast do not open windows during application of PRIMAFLOOR®.• PRiMAFLOOR®coloursmaybemixedwithamaximumof10%PRiMAFLOOR®Colourlessorwatertocreatea

Application • Facingthelightandstartingoppositethedoorsoastoworktowardsit.Applyanevenandgenerouscoatof PRIMAFLOOR® ensuring a uniform level of timber saturation to avoid colour variation. Always maintain a wet edge to avoid overlaps.

• Startwithabrushattheedges,thendotheremainingsurfaceworkinginareasof2mby2m.• Allowtodryfor2hoursdependingontheambientconditions.• Forexotichardwoodsorwoodshighintanninsa2ndcoatofPRiMAFLOOR®maybeapplied.Thisprovidesa

greater seal against tannin staining and bleed.• Toaccentuateacoloura2ndcoatmaybeapplied2-8hoursafterthe1stcoat.

Coverage 10-15m2/lpercoat.Actual coverage will vary depending on method of application, texture and porosity of surface.
