A REPORT Fortis Hospital Mohali played host to a seminar on ‘Healthcare – A Bridge to
Peace’, which was attended by over 50 members of India Pakistan Soldiers’
Initiative for Peace (IPSI). The distinguished guests included
Presidents of both India and Pakistan chapters of IPSI, apart from close to
20 delegates from Pakistan. Presenting a few snapshots…

Wagah Border in 1972 at the Indo-Pak Delineation Talks to
sign off the LOC, which was later
ratified by the Army Commanders and
political leadership at the Shimla Agreement.

Abbas Khwaja
… to Brig Khwaja Muhammad Nasir, former manager of
Pakistan’s cricket team. He has served in 13 LANCERS in
the legendary Battle of Basantar in December 1971
and was the Squadron Commander pitted against 2/Lt Arun Kheterpal, PVC
(posthumous) of 17 POONA HORSE (Fakr-e-Hind)
