My Early Life

I was Born in Dallas, TX(1 week after the Tax Reform Act of 1986)

I attended Mesquite Poteet High School in 2000

At Poteet High School,

I Competed in the Academic Decathlon at the State Level

I ran cross country at the state level – logging over 30 miles a week

I Graduated Mesquite Poteet High School in 2004

In 2004, I attended A&M University – Commerce

My Undergraduate Experience

I ran cross country at the colligate level, now logging over 60 miles a week.

I became highly involved at my residence hall and soon was hired to the position of Resident Assistant

I was elected president of the Hubble Residence Hall Counsel

My Undergraduate Experience

And even took home the RA of the Year award.

In my latter years, I was inducted to serve as one of the University President’s Ambassadors

In 2008, I graduated with a Bachelors in Political Science/Minor in Finance

My Undergraduate Experience

I also taught rock climbing and even lead trips for over 20 adventure-seeking students at a time.

Recent Years

I started my Masters Degree at Texas Tech in 2009

At Texas Tech

I joined the Personal Financial Planning Association (PFPA) at Texas Tech and began to meet my professors and peers.

I was hired to work as a research assistant in my third semester

at TTU.

At Texas Tech

I joined Red to Black® :A model peer-to-peer financial

counseling organization.

I have given presentations on financial matters to:

• Hundreds of students• Over 3 different colleges via webcam. • 2 of which were simultaneous• Entire class periods at a time.

At Texas Tech

I re-designed all the PowerPoint presentations for the organizationAnd was put in charge of conceptualizing the new website

In my second semester in Red to Black®

I was hired to be the Graduate Assistant for the organization

In the Spring of 2011, I was elected to serve as president of PFPA

This is one of the largest student ran organizations devoted purely to

In Fall of 2011 I was hired by the division to teach as a Graduate Part-

Time Instructor

With over 45 students,4 classes and 6 hours of instruction a

week I stay pretty busy.

I love the field of Financial Planning and am always looking for opportunities to meet people who are willing

to make an investment in my future with them.
