Allotted Ceremony and Reception time is 5 hours. Outdoor music must conclude by 10:30pm.

We regret that you may not throw rice due to safety regulations. Artificial flowers, including loose petals, are prohibited.

Clients, guests or invitees may not bring food or beverage of any kind into the resort.

Welk Resorts San Diego will not be held responsible for damage to or replacement of wedding flowers, cake toppers, party favors or any other decorations.

Welk Resorts San Diego does not claim to have a secured area for storage of wedding items.

Welk Resorts San Diego cannot be held responsible for the placement of centerpieces, party favors, decorations, place cards, etc. Please plan accordingly.

Designating a person to be in charge of collecting items of the bride and groom is the best way to insure any valuables from being left behind and discarded by resort staff.

FUNCTION CONTRACTS & POLICIES

1. All prices are subject to change without notice.

2. All prices quoted are subject to a 20% service charge and applicable sales tax.

3. In arranging private functions, the attendance must be specified 14 business days in advance. The number will be considered a guarantee for which you will be charged, even if fewer guests attend.

4. Failure to notify the Special Event Coordinator 14 days in advance will result in the estimated figure becoming the guarantee.

5. Welk Resorts, San Diego agrees to prepare for 5% over the guaranteed number for the function.

6. No food or beverage of any kind may be brought onto resort grounds by the patron, guests, or invitees without the expressed written consent of the resort. The resort reserves the right to charge for the service of such food & beverage. Resort regulations do not permit removal of food at conclusion of the function.

7. Welk Resort San Diego will not assume any responsibility for the damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left in the resort prior to, during, or following your function.

8. Welk Resorts San Diego is excused from performance of this contract, at the resorts option, and without obligation to the patron for damages, if the performance of the resort is prevented, substantially interfered with, or rendered significantly more difficult due to labor troubles; disputes or strikes; government regulation; utility shortages or restrictions; restrictions upon travel, transportation, foods and/or beverages, or supplies; Acts of God; and/or other cause whether or not specifically enumerated herein beyond the control of the Welk Resorts San Diego.

9. Room rental fees and/or food and beverage minimums may apply. Please check with your Group Sales Manager for details.

10. Functions that exceed the allotted time noted on the banquet event orders will be subject to an additional $500 labor fee per hour.
