The aim of this work

•To find out the importance of volunteering and make people familiar with this idea.

The objectives

•to find out the factors making volunteering important;

•to find out the advantages a person can get engaging in this activity;

•to distinguish all possible drawbacks a person can face while volunteering;

•to compare its trends in the USA and Lithuania.

Methods

•literature analysis; •questionnaire surveys.
