WITH REGARDS, FROM THE SCHOOL HEAD Dear all
Hari Om! Through this first issue of our news letter of 2017-18 I convey my greetings to all the stakeholders in the school. With your support and cooperation the school is taking greater strides towards achieving excellence in every field of teaching and learning. Since e newsletter is an attempt to give you updated with the latest happenings in the school so in this issue we put forth the result of board exams and other activities conducted in the first quarter of the session. We wish to look forward to your interest in the affairs of the school and time to time cooperation for bringing about the desired change in your ward through the education imparted in the school. It is said that the journey of a thousand mile is covered by initial small steps. So we hope that our steps in this session towards the development of the school activities and in the learners will definitely go miles in the future of the talents we wish to nurture in the school.

Inter House Elocution Competition Date – 02.05.2017
Venue : Assembly ground To develop the skill of eloquent speaking among students Inter House Elocution competition were organized in the school. The event was presided by Principal Shri A.K.Tiwary & Activ-ity I/c Shri Ashok Kumar Thakur. Judges were teachers from English Department. The compe-tition was held in two categories Junior (middle group) – Classes VI to VIII Seniors – Classes IX to XII. The students learnt of delivering speeches effectively and presenting poetic pieces effectively. Develop confidence through participation & shed inhibitions of facing audience.

“INTERAZIONE” – OPEN HOUSE (CLASSES PREP TO II) Date - 04.05.2017 Venue: NTPC Auditorium
To interact with the parents and unearth the latent talent of the students Junior section of our school organized a talent hunt event “INTERAZIONE”. The event started at 9.30 a.m. with invocation and lighting of the lamp done by the Primary Head Mrs. Ajita Bose and the hon-ourable judges Mrs. Rashmi Agarwal & Mrs. Neeta Chaturvedi. There were three sub-event viz. Solo Song Competition, Solo Dance Competition and Recitation Competition in two categories, Bunnies (Class-I) and Cubs (Class-II). Class Prep (Teddies Group) showcased a fancy dress competition and the theme was ‘Cartoon Characters’. The Primary Head enlightened the parents with the help of power point presentation about the school and vari-ous activities. The parents applauded the efforts of students and teachers.
Inter Class Choral Recitation Competition (Classes – Prep to II) And Inter House Elocution Competition (Classes III to V)
Date : 12th May 2017 Venue : Senior Assembly Ground
To develop team spirit, coordination , proper speech and delivery of poem through correct pro-nunciation and expression was the main aim of the activity. It aims to enhance the speaking skills and literary outlook. The English department of the school organized Recitation and Elo-cution competitions on 12.05.2017. The competitions were judged by the Principal Mr. A.K.Tiwary, Mrs Masarrat Arshi and Mrs. Kalpana Sharma. The students of Classes Prep-II recited their poems with full expression and proper intonation. The presentation went off very smoothly. The poems were recited in English and Hindi both (different poems).

EVENTS CELEBRATION Gurudev’s Jayanti
Date : 8.5.2017 Venue : Pooja Room & Assembly Ground A special combined assembly was conducted to involve the students in celebration of H.H. Swami Chinma-yanandaji’s Jayanti. The programmes included invocation of Gurudev, daily prayers, singing of Guru Stotrum, Guru’s bhajan and an inspiring talk by Alok Ojha . Then pooja started at 9:30 a.m. followed by paduka pujan of Gurudev by Chanting 108 names of Gurudev and Chinmaya Arti. Prasad was distributed to all.
RED & YELLOW DAY CELEBARATION FOR TINY TOTS CLASS PREP
To create an awareness about colours in our budding blooms, Red and Yellow days were cele-brated . The children of Class Prep and teachers were dressed in Red & Yellow and brought things of the same colour to eat. There were interesting activities planned for the little buds to inculcate the spirit of ‘ Learning by doing’.
