1) Addict – (v) To cause someone to have a very strong desire for something; person with a strong desire for something that is habit-forming & sometimes harmful

It is very easy to become addicted to caffeine.

2) Aspiration (aspire) – A strong desire to achieve something; an ambition

Everyone needs an aspiration in order to succeed in life.

3) Bias – A preference that prevents one from being impartial; prejudice.

The lawyers insisted that Judge Lewis showed bias in favor of women.

4) Blatant – Very obvious in an offensive or shameless way

The student was blatantly cheating.

5) Candid – Expressed honestly and without holding back unpleasant truths

The young lady was known for her candid opinions.

6) Confront – To stand up to; to face boldly

You will need to confront the bully!

7) Debut – A first public appearance

The singer made her debut at a middle school talent show.

8) Enroll – To sign up to become a member of some group or activity; to register
