Future Developments
• All new Videoconference products are supporting functional IP based services.
• Carriers to consider implementing a Public Video IP network and ISDN Gateway links.
Summary• Latest versions of Videoconference devices are reliable
and functional for IP.
• Dedicated IP-VPN networks provide required QOS for a Video over IP Service
• Internet services work, but are not yet of reliable QOS for commercial usage.
• Future Plans for carriers may include a Video over IP Public IP-VPN and Gateway services.
