Victoria’s 2018 Festivals and Outdoor Events Guide
Greetings from Mayor Lisa Helps
Welcome to CityVibe 2018, your guide to events and activities happening around our beautiful city. This year brings another action-packed season of arts, culture and entertainment for audiences of all ages. With new programs and many returning favourites, there is something for everyone inside these pages.
Victoria is home to a wealth of amazing, talented people. Through their inspiration and dedication, residents and visitors have so many opportunities to come together and celebrate arts and culture in our Capital City. The City of Victoria is committed to fostering this incredible talent, and many of the events listed in this guide have been supported through our Festival Investment Grant program.
Whether you’re looking for information on a free outdoor performance at Beacon Hill Park or Centennial Square, or one of our many community markets, CityVibe will help you navigate what’s happening around the city this year. I hope you will enjoy, and share in some of the events that make our city so wonderful and unique!
