What job?I want to be a vet, but not an ordinary vet -

an animal surgeon. I want to help animals like my parents. I enjoy helping animals.

Why that job?Because I love that job. I enjoy watching and helping my father

during operations. I would like to learn more about animal

anatomy.I am especially interested in dog breeds.

My favourite pet – AlkaI have a White Swiss Sheperd. Her name is

Alka.She is a powerful and lively dog, sometimes

reserved with strangers but never aggressive.

I walk her and enjoy playing with her a lot.She is very crazy dog!!!

How to become a vet ?To become a vet you have to invest a lot of

hard work and effort. After finishing primary school, I should attend grammar school or secondary veterinary school.

Secondary schoolIn secondary school I should learn more

about chemistry, biology and physics, to prepare for Veterinary Faculty. I should pass my GCSE exams (Croatian, English and Maths) with good marks.

There are specialized veterinary secondary schools in Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Zadar, Slavonski brod and Križevci.
