II. Function Overview1. COPYTherearetwokindsofcopymodeforAsynchronousandSynchronousCopy.Thesystemwillcheck thecontentsizeof thesource. If thesourcecontentsize is less thansystem’sbuffermemory,itwillautomaticallystartasynchronouscopying.If thesourcecontentsizeislargerthanthesystem’sbuffermemory,itwillcopybysynchronousmode.

1.2 Asynchronous CopyItonlycanworkwhenthesourcecontentsizeisundercontrollerbuffermemorysize.1 Pluginthesourceflashandpress .Thesystemwillstarttoreadthesourcecontentinto

system’sbuffer. Itwill thenimmediatelystart tocopyoncea targetflashcardhasbeenpluggedin.

2 Duringcopy, eachcard slotsgreenLEDwill flash,DON’T takeout the cardwhilecopying.When copy has finished, the greenLEDwill stop flashing and remainilluminated,thenyoucantakeoutthecardandpluginanothernewflashcard.ThequantityofcopyPass/Failandin“working”processwillbedisplayedontheLCD.TheRedLEDwillonlyilluminatewhenthereisacopyerror.

6. Utility 6.1 Format FAT16/32 ThisfunctionistodoflashFATformatting.PlugtheFlashmediaintheslotandpress ,thesystemwillautomaticallydetectitscapacityandformatethemediaaccordingtoit.● IfFlashmediaformatisalreadyFAT16orFAT32,theformatfunctionwon’tchangeit isoriginalformat.

● IfFlashmediaformat isnotFATformat, i.e.NTFS,LinuxorFATmulti-partition.Thesystemwillexecuteformataccordingtoflash’scapacity.Whenitiscapacityisabove2GB,thesystemwillformattheFlashtoFAT32,if itscapacityisbelow2GB,thesystemwillformatthemediatobeFAT16.

CheckSum ThisfunctionwillcalculatetheCheckSumnumberoftheFlashdevicepluggedinthesourceport.TheCheckSumcalculateareawillbasedonthe“copyarea”youset.Ifyouset“Dataonly“,CheckSumwillcalculatedataareaonly;ifyouset“Wholemedia”,theCheckSumnumberwillbecalculatedbasedonthewholeflashdevisesize.Beawarethateventwoflashdeviceshavethesamedata,ifthecapacityhasanydifference,theirCheckSumvaluewillbedifferent.

7.2 Copy Area 7.2.1. 7.4 Asyn Hold timeThisistosetthetimetoexitasynchronouscopyingwhenyou’vetemporarilyfinishedcopyingandyou’vepulledoutallthedevices,butyouhaven’texitedthecopyingjob.Thisistopreventyoufrommistakenlyoverwritingasourcedevicewhenyou’dliketostartanewsourcecopybutyouforgottostopthepreviousasynchronouscopyingjob.Thedefaultsettingis30seconds.Whenthesystemdetectsthatalltheflashcardshavebeenpulledandnonewcardshavebeenpluggedinafter30secondstheLCDwilldisplay:

Press toexitthisAsynchronousorpress tokeepthisstatus.

7.5 Ignore SizeThepurposeofthisfunctionistosettheflashcardcapacitytolerancebetweenthesourceandtarget.Thedefaultsettingis“Don’tCare”thatmeansthereisnolimitof tolerancebetweenthesourceandtarget.Ifyourequirethesourceandtargetflashcardstobelimitedtoacertaincapacitytolerancethenyoucansetthe%oftheit. Forexampleifyoursourcedevicehasacapacityof1919MBandyousetlgnoresizeis3%,thatmeanstheacceptabletargetdevices’capacitywillbelimitedbetween1976MBto1861MB.
