The color code system is based on the data and dimensions as proposed by the Technical Committee “Furniture” of the ISOInternational Standards Organization in 1981. They have defined seven categories, for stature heights ranging from 2.95’(90 cm) to 5.9’ (180 cm). Of these, only the five largest categories have practical use in a school or pre-school environment.
Over the years, pupils grow taller, so we added a tallest category in the spirit of this system. This is optimized fora height of 6.3’, and offers better ergonomics for people with a height of 6’ and above.
School furniture is developed to meet standards defined by EN 1729. School chairs are mechanically tested for stability, static load, and dynamic load. All materials used must be free from halogens and other chemically harmful residues.Consistent testing is also monitored by performing tests on hardness, strength, welds and control of bending angles. Allproducts are being produced according to ISO 9000 quality standards.

Soliwood ®
Soliwood® is a special material. Itunites the best of wood and plasticinto a base material with uniqueproperties. It is made by pressingtogether many layers of beechveneer under particularly high pres-sure and temperature. The moisturenaturally present in the wood cellsis then replaced with natural resinsand possibly colour pigments.
Once cured, this anchors the woodlayers together and creates aresilient, strong and scratch-resist-ant material that stands up to theyears without trouble. This processallows the wood to be molded farmore extremely than is possible inits natural form, so that particularlyergonomic chair shapes can becreated. Soliwood® feels natural, looks attractive with itswood graining and is nature-friend-ly and perfectly recyclable.
Seat shell XS
The XS seat shell is styled informed beech veneer. The top layerconsists optionally of laminate or ofbeech wood treated with a tough, transparent two-component lacquer. This version accentuates the stylish, contemporary styling of the seatshell. The seating profile is characterized by an active andpassive sitting zone and a marked V-shaped pelvic support that allowsseveral seating postures so that sitting fatigue is eliminated.
The XS has an integrated grip thatnot only looks good, but alsoenables this dynamic chair to bemoved about with ease. If theupholstered version is preferred, then the seat shell is covered with2cm thick shape-retaining coldfoam and fully upholstered with aseam that visually separates the sitting part from the back rest.
Seat shell XL
The XL has the same open seatingprofile that also typifies the XS.Here though it is more generouslyconceived in all directions, so thatboth active and passive sitting comfort become more defined. Aschoice of surface finish there iseither contemporary beech veneer(like the XS) or stylishly quarter-cutbleached oak veneer.
The upholstered cushions accentuate the character of this version. A cushion in 4cm thickshape-retaining cold foam is usedfor the seat and for the back. Thecold foam is 2cm thick. Optionally, just the seat or the seat and backcan be upholstered so that the finewood veneers remain partially visible.
In the upholstered version, too, thestyling of the XL closely matchesthat of the XS, so that, if desired, an attractive combination can becomposed.
