VA Work-Study Positions Available

Location: VA Medical Center, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV

Who Qualifies: Any Veteran whose classes have been certified by a Veteran Service

Coordinator for full-time or ¾ time – 9 credits is usually the minimum.

The positions are available to persons eligible under one of the following programs:

Montgomery GI Bill - Chapter 30, Chapter 31, Chapter 32, Chapter 33, Chapter 35,

Chapter 1606, or REAP/1607

Eligible dependents under 38 U.S.C. Chapter 35 (only while training in a state)

National Call to Service participants

Job Description:

Assist Veterans with My HealtheVet and eBenefits

Attend local outreaches

Assist Veterans in the Patient Education Resource Center/PERC

No more than 25 hours per work week
