OVERVIEW:

We are going to evaluate the educational e-portal of the ministry of education in Sultanate of Oman

OVERVIEW:

The Portal consisted of 4 strategies which are Administration System, Assistant educational system, cultural and educational content, and user training. Where administrative system aims to provide regulatory administrative database with various reports and statistics used by every audience, everyone according to his mandates powers, giving each one a user name and a password.

THE PURPOSE OF EVALUATION

To measure the effectiveness ,efficiency and user satisfaction about Oman e-portal

DEFINE AUDIENCE.

School administration Teachers Parents Students

All over Oman and they connected via internet

FUNDING ANALYSIS

We figured from the results of the survey the following:

1. Effectiveness of Oman educational port 83.3% of participates agreed that Send SMS for

the parent about their son progress is very useful.

50% of participates agreed that built in e-mail functions for communicating progress and grades with students is very useful and somewhat useful.

Most of participates agreed that the educational e-portal is helpful as shown in the previous slides.
