President Obama.

• Coordinates federal efforts to increase & improve veteran small business development.

• $150,000 grants provided to Veteran Business Opportunity Centers in 10 states

• SBA Transition Assistance Program 800 counseled annually

• Boots to Business • SBA Launched 2 new entrepreneurship programs for

Women Veterans, National Guard and Reserve members & their families

• SBA Expanded Entrepreneurship Boot Camp for Veterans w/disabilities to Louisiana State University

Patriot Express Initiative Loan

• Veterans, Service –disabled veterans, Reservists and National Guard members, TAP eligible active duty, spouse or widowed spouse of these members.

Loans up to $500,000 for military community ,members, including:

• 85 percent for loans of $150,000 or less; 75 percent for loans over $150,000

• In FY2012, Federal Agencies combined exceeded the 3.0 goal of contract procurement opportunities for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. 3.03% this year vs. 2.65% last year. In monetary language, that’s about $12.3 billion in dollars nationwide.
