Create an ACT! lookup of the records you wish to change , Ctrl & A to select all from the Contact list view, then use edit Copy, Replace or Swap .

Automatically create a set of activities for multiple ACT! users when updating a field

Under Schedule, then Manage – create your activity series template. In Tools, define fields, set this activity series as the trigger when changing the field.
