The SLO Initiative …
Is designed to honor professors’ teaching identities and disciplinary differences while summing meaningfully across diverse units of the University.
Has a metric as dynamic as the educational goals that it attempts to capture: as they change, so it changes.
Is an unobtrusive aid – not an impediment – to the transformation of learning.
